"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." - Anais Nin

"That was in June, fish-fly season, where each year our town is covered by the flotsam of those ephemeral insects. Rising in clouds from the algae in the polluted lake, they blacken windows, coat cars and streetlamps, plaster the municipal docks and festoon the rigging of sailboats, always in the same brown ubiquity of flying scum."

I'd no sooner call this book a novel rather than a book of poems, as every paragraph is a beautiful jumble of words.

"Nobody's grandfather had died, nobody's grandmother, nobody's parents, only a few dogs: Tom Burke's Beagle, Muffin, who choked on Bazooka Joe bubble gum, and then that summer, a creature who in dog years was still a puppy - Cecilia Lisbon."

bit of an epic read.

words by E. E. Cummings

nearer:breath of my breath:take not they tingling
limbs from me:make my pain their crazy meal
letting they tigers of smooth sweetness steal
slowly in dumb blossoms of new mingling:
deeper:blood of my blood:with upwardcringing
swiftness plunge these leopards of white ream
this pith of darkness:carve an evilfringing
flower of madness on gritted lips
and on sprawled eyes squirming with light insane
chisel the killing flame that dizzily grips.

my obsession with the plastic bag begun.

The Holy Mountain

"Deep, trippy, schizophrenic, symbolic, mystical, with great blasts of violence and astonishing sequence of Pictures, The Holy Mountain is simply what i call revolutionary art. If you want a comparison i'd say that it's more symbolic and meaningful than a Lynch film but with a simpler and clearer script. The dialogs are few to nonexistent, but the Images alone are enough to keep your mind busy for hours. For almost 110 minutes you're watching -experiencing is a more suitable word- an insane delusion but the finale comes to overthrow your previous state of mind- truly unique, one of the most subversive in the history of cinema. Watch this movie with an open mind and you'll surely witness one of the most provoking and mind-challenging pieces of art ever made."

ARTIST STATEMENT.

I enjoy the idea that repulsion and attraction cannot exist without one another, and i am interested in the point where they unite and what that then, creates. this has been the consistent aim within my body of work. I explore the physical human condition within my photographs, mainly in the female form, while flirting with the ideas of power relationships and the abject aswell as eroticism.
